Anchor Bridle construction help

I am building an anchor bridle for a 10MT - 40' mono hull. I want the chain-end of the bridle to pass easily through the anchor roller going up and down. I have a 3-strand nylon line with the middle part wrapped around a thimble and then bound together.

Each bridle leg is 7m (22') long, with a spliced eye each at the boat side.
The cleats on the boat are less than 1m (3') apart.

- Will the binding prevent the 3-strand from slipping back and forth around the thimble?

- Will the binding weaken or otherwise negatively affect the 3-strand?

Re: Anchor Bridle construction help

What you have done will likely work just fine. If it does seem to slip, a wracking seizing can add strength to the system. A look at a marlinespike book will show how to do that better than I can describe the process, but it isn't hard to do.
