I was a bit concerned as to how to attach 10mm anchor chain but then I realised that you just loop it through the anchor shackle. My other thought was that it may work better as a stationary mooring provided you can reach it from the water in your boat!!

The best thing is -- no rode needed! You simply place the anchor in (on) your boat, and it goes nowhere.
