Re: A New Anchor Guaranteed Never to Drag

I'm guessing that new anchor may get a work out with the new super typhoon in Micronesia....

The usual questions:
- What is the price?
- Do they ship to France?

Re: A New Anchor Guaranteed Never to Drag

We were an early adopter of the first generation design. They hold so well that we were unable to bring it back up after set. The solution was to purchase 25000 feet of rode. That way we just sail off and let the rode out until we run out, then when we are ready to go back in, just turn the windless on to pull us back to the anchorage. It has limited our cruising grounds to just 4 miles, but the holding is as advertised.

Canada drags all the time just like the USA. Wait that's just the government doing something ( anything)

Re: A New Anchor Guaranteed Never to Drag

Thank you for this reminder that when it comes to anchors, use the biggest you can safely handle. Think my boat would bow to this one.

This proves the point that when it comes to anchoring, BIGGER IS ALWAYS BETTER.
