Good, thank you.
Will see tommorow if the old tube is Hypalon or PVC.
A new tube is not going to happen, I received a quote of 2000€ for that.
So instead, I'll get some glue, Hypalon
fabric & Hypalon
paint.
All pending what the material test reveals tommorow.
Maybe I can
salvage handles and oar locks from another derelict
dinghy next to it.
What's the best way to remove some of the bad glued on handles and patches?
The
fiberglass repair will be a piece of cake for me, I'm well versed in that.
Just need to grind the botched job someone else did previously off before laminating properly.
I guess for 150€ total materials I should be able to get a few more years out of her, if, she stays reasonably inflated until tomorrow.
Wish me luck.
Anyone else who has hints & good ideas how to
repair & paint the tubes, let me know.
