Suspending a Non-RIB Inflatable from Davits

Suspending the front of an inflatable lacking a rigid floor is a challenge. Many have no fittings and slinging under the tender is awkward and leaves it low. This came to mind after a neighbor's tender fell in the water this week; the tackle was secured to the floor, the tubes lost pressure, and the floor pulled out.

I posted my spin on the problem on my blog:

Sail Delmarva: A Few Projects

It survived the past winter's blizards (with a tent over the tender) so it is atleast workable. I have used this system for ~ 8 years, with upgrades. I leave the tender hanging all year and thus require a robust solution. Maintaining air pressure when away from the boat for 2-4 weeks is difficult.

But if you have a more elegant answer, please share. I have looked at many systems and this seems to be a common problem.
