Soft boarding ladder

If I ditch my transom mount SS boarding ladder to mount a windvane steering unit (South Atlantic), I'll still need a way back on board if I have to go over the side.

Does anyone have experience with the Sea Dog folding ladder with hard rungs and rope rails, or the C-Level ladder made of webbing (higher rating on a BoatUS test)?

Other removable, easily stowable ideas welcome. -thx!

Re: Soft boarding ladder

Take a look at this option. We installed one a few years ago and absolutely love it. Works as a standard boarding ladder. Folds up and out of the way, and can be retracted by someone floating in the water, so acts as an emergency ladder as well.
