Repair of zodiac H2P floor.

I have a Zodiac dinghy with H2P inflatable floor.
Unfortunately there is a very small leak on the top side.
So small it is not visible without magnifying glass.

I have read the link below and there they explain how to fix a small leak but I expect this to be on the tubings. The description say to use a Syringe to insert glue into the inside and the hole keeping a small pressure inside. Perhaps one should lay the floor upside down so the glue stays where the leak is.

How To Repair PVC Inflatable Boats & Rafts.

The HP2 floor must withstand much higher pressure.

Has anyone repaired such a leak and how was it done?

Re: Repair of zodiac H2P floor.

Having a high pressure air floor will require a patch. It is best to weight the patch down or clamp it while the adhesive cures. The technique they mentioned for small repairs can be done by a professional shop but rarely work in the field.

Thanks cgoing.

I did put on a patch and let it settle for 24 hours.
The floor seem to hold air. At least for the time being.

Re: Repair of zodiac H2P floor.

Hi Hans,

I have same problem. So, I want to glue the littel hole in the H2P floor too. Is your repair still good? Which glue/method did you use? Do you know which fabric the floor is?
Thanks

Sigrid,
The repair is still good. I used the patch kit supplied with the dingy when I got it new but I found the patches to big and as the hole was so small I cut a smaller circle from one of the original patches. Maybe half he diameter.

Hans, thanks, do you know the glue you used? The fabric of the patches/airfloor?
