Rebuilding Outboard Fuel Tank

I got a great deal on a old eska 7 hp outboard. Motor is fine except the seld contained fuel tank fill cap is gone....as is the neck it screwed to. It rusted away. The tank came clean with very little effort and im left with a clean tank but no way to attach a cap to it. Any ideas where one could buy a fill neck that could be welded on?

DON'T DO IT!!!!

Anything that used to hold gasoline, no matter how long ago and how clean now, will still likely have enough vapor to go boom. All it needs is enough spark / heat, which and kind of welding is sure to provide.

This is the first part of any welding lesson. If it had gas in it, don't touch it.
