Quicksilver Sport 300

Just bought one of these. Took it out for a row without the engine. As I was rowing the seat just collapsed having pulled out of the track that you slide the seat onto. Tried it several times and same thing.. seat collapsed. Good thing I tried this out without an engine (rated for 15 hp). Anyone have a similar problem with this inflatable? Scary thought to think of a 15 hp at full throttle and the seat collapses.

"Collapse" happens when the seat comes out of the track. If you are not moving the seat rests on the pontoon but your moving around puts you on the bottom of the dingy. This happened in cold wet conditions north of Vancouver island. On hot days you could see the seat was nearly out of the track but holding. The inflatable was well pumped up.

Forget the seat, sit on the tube.
