We have a F-Rib (foldable rib) that has a failure in one of the seams on the starboard side tube. I have made two attempts at repair with a patch and one-part PVC glue; both have failed, each one filling out like a blister when the tube is fully inflated.
So, after I clean up the glue residue mess, I'm thinking of using West System G-Flex 655 Thickened Epoxy
to glue the seam together again. A friend suggested using 3M 5200 as a glue.
Any input on either? Or, other suggestions?
