Propane powered Outboards

Thinking of buying a propane powered outboard, Cruising the PNW and propane is readily available, so supply should not be an issue. Have a Torqeedo / electric outboard, works great for short distance travel, but thinking of those locations where I'd like to go further and faster.
Anyone have any experience with the propane powered outboards ?

If I get another OB it's what I'd get. Mitigates the fire safety issues associated with gasoline onboard. Doesn't get stale as quickly as gasoline. They should be much easier to start than a gasoline engine.

Had a Lehr 5hp ..poor quality control ..business is no longer..parts are hard to find..got rid of it
