PFD referb

Ok... I made the mistake of buying an eBay PFD, a mustang SOSpender copy. While the PFD was generally in good condition, the critical inflator component had brittle plastic assembly connecting the inflator to the air bladders (see attached pictures)Click image for larger version

I'm curious if there is any way to repair or referb this damage.

I'm sure you were expecting this:

A PFD is primary safety equipment; it would be unwise to attempt any sort of repair or kludge to just fix the broken part.

The best bet is to just get a proper re-arm kit. There are other manufacturers out there as well.

Yeah... I expected this sort of reply. The inflator to bladder connection seems to be a weak point in the design and it almost seems like it is designed to be replaced periodically. I'm looking for that replacement kit if it exists.

I strongly recommend everyone inspect their safety equipment frequently if not every time they don that gear.
