check this out; http://windpilot.com/Grafiken/pdf/bookeng.pdf
your boat needs a fairly simple servo-pendulum to tiller system - your main problem will be figuring out how to mount something on that overhung transom.

Re: Looking for windvane

check out Flemingselfsteer.com
I have one...its brilliant... wouldn't be without it
Look at the page with all the users...it can fit any kind of stern...tiller or wheel, no issues
Satinless steel castings....massive mounts..better value for money than a lot of others just made out of SS plate

I can't seem to open that link Charlie.
The Fleming looks great but it's the price which is crazy. I know that about what all the good ones cost but still. Wow! Strange there aren't more second hand options. There would defiantly be a business idea in making servo pendulum vanes if had the talent and time. Still looking if any more ideas. Nikos.

Re: Looking for windvane

I believe you were looking for a used vane, not a new one. Try ebay or allcraigslist. Key word windvane, wind vane or self steering. I found my sailomat there. You'll probably be in the $1500 to $2500 range...CS
