Inflatable Pressure Gauge

Having always used hard dinghy's we now have a Achilles w air floor and love it. My only issue is with the pressure gauge that came with the pump. It seems less than accurate and robust. I like the foot pump but would consider a different setup if it had a better gauge I wonder what other options/ideas are out there thanks

as a ad on to the original post we will be using the boat full time while cruising with our two kids(open ended) and wish to find real world examples of guages others have found worthy of real life use. I plan to keep the old one as a back up.

I have an Achilles with inflatable floor and the same gauge. I'm not aware of any alternative. I've never paid any attention to the numbers on gauge itself when inflating the tubes and the floor anyway. Just blow the tubes up until they're hard and the foot pump offers resistance. Same with the floor. If you blow it up when it's cool out and the sun's not shining on the dinghy, leave a little room for expansion when the sun hits it.

Zodiac have a pressure guage with their air-deck dinghies.

I really don't care for the pressure guage at all. They are inaccurate and are really just another piece of junk banging around in the dink locker. When it feels hard it is ready to go... always seems to work for me!
Note: keep those minds clean

After living full time on sailboats for over twenty years, this is the first time I've ever even heard of a pressure gauge for inflatables. Live & learn.
