Hard dinghy or rib

I've had multiple inflatable ribs, and currently have a very nice Archilles 10fter . but I was always concerned about the tubes on my inflatables. So I bought a 12 foot Carolina Skiff, lots of room and a flat floor. Can carry lots of things. But it was not the stable as a rib. I have always been interested in the Livingston cats and this weekend I acquired a 10-foot Livingston. It is a very sporty and fun boat. But it is not going to make a good dinghy it does not have a flat floor and his weight sensitive. So with my experience is telling me it is hard to replace an inflatable rib. Just wanted to share my experience. I am a full-time live aboard on the hook
