Gasoline Storage

Can / should you store your outboard motor gasoline in your propane locker?
Both vapers are heavier than air. Should drain out. Assuming you have a ignition protected solenoid and proper locker. Or are you looking for trouble.

Re: Gasoline Storage

I think it's a good spot, if your propane locker has the space.

Best enclosed place on the whole boat if it’s properly vented, etc.

You sure as hell shouldn't store it somewhere where leaked vapors could come back on board. If you have room in the gas locker, I think that's great. We keep our petrol either behind the bathing platform, or in the anchor locker. Storing petrol on board a cruising boat is a PITA, and dangerous.
