Fiberglass vs Aluminum for RIB Dinghy?

I don’t think I am ready for an oceancraft.

Just want a good quality Inflatable dinghy with fiberglass hull, that weighs less than 150lb. The AB 9VS seems to check all the boxes. But, it is almost $5,000 new, which I may wind up buying if I can’t find a decent used one. I would also look at Caribe and other quality brands.

My 2006 PVC Mercury lasted me until now because it was stored in my home every winter and never in the Florida sun. I am now in a 12 month boating locale in southeast florida. The sun is brutal here. I believe the only way to gain longevity in these conditions is through quality materials and workmanship. I hope!
