Don't Buy an AB Inflatabe

I've had no complaints about my 2001 AB 12 VS, but it has seen heavy use for the last 7 years and was worn out.

I read this thread beforehand, but my impression is of a few isolated cases. The dealers I talked to thought the move to Columbia improved the quality. They were not hearing from unhappy customers, or having boats come back with problems. The company I talked to in Ft Lauderdale services all brands and thought AB was one of the best.

I took delivery of a 13 AL yesterday. All I know so far is that it floats and holds air, but the build quality looks fine. Welds are all good. Structurally looks very strong (including transom). I'm going to use it hard, so hopefully it holds up.
