Does anyone have an idea what this is?
We're still sorting through the things on our new-to-us boat. Today, we found this in the bottom of a dunnage box and we can figure out what it's for. Any ideas?

Re: Does anyone have an idea what this is?
Looks like some sort of quick release, if you pull on the small shackle does the "jaw" open?

Looks like a Texas sized keychain/beer can opener.

Reminds me of shackles I have seen for spinnaker pole topping lifts on bigger boats, but I am probably wrong too. Got a spinnaker pole?

Don't think the OP would have much use for a spinnaker pole

Re: Does anyone have an idea what this is?
Maybe a quick release shackle for the dink. If you operating the winch on the hard top would be nice to be able to release the hoist from there. If you don't want it I'll take it😁
