Catamaran Inflatable

I am researching a replacement dinghy (mine wa stolen).

Something new to me is the catamaran inflatable such as those manufactured by Advanced Marine Inflatables. http://www.amiboats.com/

Does anyone on the forum have experience good or bad with either this type of boat or the manufacturer?

George

These apear to be very similar to the Zapcat racing boats used in UK. These are amazing in quite bad conditions, but have never considered one as a tender due to their cost, and the size of outboard they normally use

If I went with one it would be a 10'. Takes a 15 hp engine. Price is in line with a similar length RIB. My concern is durability. I have used lots of PVC dinghies with good luck, but construction is another matter.

BTW that YouTube clip looks like a real blast. I better not show that to the Admiral. She will thing that's what we would be doing.
