Cardinal ST230 disposable dinghy

Ok I searched the web and this site. But I cannot find any reviews for Cardinal dinghies. The salesman at the Portland boat show is offering the230ST for $495. It is a 7.5' PVC dinghy made by Cardinal. I have until Sunday to make my decision. It looked a lot like the west marine pru3. I will use it as a tender off a Westsail 32 on the west coast. San Francisco and San Diego. I like its small size and light weight. It has built in oar locks and a slatted floor. I am concerned because I cannot find any reviews online. Maybe it is a rebranded product or brand new. Any words from the cruiser forum would be helpful. Thanks.

Is it actually advertised as a disposable dinghy? $495, you get what you pay for. If your usage need is very light, then any of the cheap recreational toys will work - go on price. I don't think there is any thing to gain by trying to suss out user reviews on any of these things.

Other similar brands would probably be Sevylor, Sea Eagle and Saturn. Most likely they are all made from the same factory in China and different labels slapped on them.
