Can I Move the Forward Lifting Eye on My Dinghy?
We have a Caribe C-10. The forward lifting eye is on the aft wall of the forward locker. Can I move it to the forward end of the locker instead?

With our current setup, the dinghy is not centered in the davits --the bow sticks out to port about two feet more than the stern to starboard.

Put a substantial backing plate in, and you should be fine.
