Bottom-Painting RIB Tubes - Yes or No?

I have a 10' Caribe RIB and need to re-paint the hull bottom.
Some people paint the tubes below the waterline also.
She is in the water full time and she needs as much help as I can give her.

Yes or No?

I'm in Grenada and am trying to bring the dinghy up on to a beach every few weeks and clean the bottom with Up & Down. Takes about an hour for the entire process. A few of the dinghies here are painted but more are not.

If you are willing to flip it over and scrub it every 3 weeks or so, don't paint. A smooth unpainted bottom is easier to scrap.

And bottom paint is just not that effective.

Scrubbing a dink bottom is part of your cruising routine, only made complicated by having to manhandle heavy out boards. Once you crack that one it's really no biggie.

Don't paint. Save money and the environment.
