autopilot problem
just replaced my 20 year old Raymarine ST 1000, because it was having issues
with holding a course imput. I plugged in the identical replacement, and it started to do something, then stopped - blown fuse 5a. Im going to do a basic
check on the voltage line, but looking for a lead to a common problem, if there
is one. Raymarine seems to offer little to zero help. chris

The ST1000+ installation manual says to use a 12A fuse. Page 43
