We got a 30hp for it, but even with our spare 18hp [don't ask - my other half likes fast rides] we plane no problem with 3 people. 4 people and 30hp plane as well, haven't tried 4 people and 18hp. Actually the
4 stroke 30hp might be too big for it even though Walker Bay suggests this
engine. It is light enough and wheels help.
We really like the quality of the
boat and how well everything is thought out - they really put a lot of thought into designing and making this
dinghy.
I'm sure they'll be at
Annapolis, so if you're in the area it might be worth coming to check it out. You can get a VERY nice discount at the
boat show as well.
