AB 12 DLX replacing trim tabs - sizing Q

Pardon me but I'm used to wind power and not so smart with our RIB. I have an AB Marine 12 DLX with center console etc. It has Nauticus Smart Tabs sized about 9.5x10. One side is no longer functional-- it's totally rusted and they both need to be replaced. I'm not impressed by the construction of these; the boot leaked and the innards corroded so I'm not buying another set.

I'm looking at Bennet Marine self leveling trim tabs and they have two models that could fit. The SLT 6 which is 6x8 and the SLT which is 10x10. I called Bennet and the CSR recommended 6x8 so the boat doesn't "over trim."

That said, I'm wondering why the boat came with bigger tabs. I'm not the original owner and I'm not sure if it came this way OEM or the prior owner added 'em. I'm usually solo in this thing, or maybe with my son, since my wife doesn't get as excited freezing out on the Salish Sea as the menfolk do. It's got a nice deep V hull and 30hp outboard and I enjoy a good thrashing out in the San Juans.

Thoughts?
