Looks great, what a great workboat. The rocker is not only beneficial to beaching and spinning the boat, but in responding to seas and turning and centering the load as well. It’s a trade-off though, flatter rocker is faster and punches through waves better, ime.

They are a locally modified version of the Lunenburg grand banks dory.
Modified to carry 2 men & a ton of wet dulce 10+/- miles in 2-4ft seas,land on a boulder beach in those seas,& be winched up the beach & over the seawall loaded. Scary as h...,but they've been doing it for over 100 yrs./ Len

The dory design is so simple, yet such an amazingly versatile design.
I grew up with these, that's me on the bottom there, and by 16 I was rowing them. That second photo is in the Grand Canyon, well Marble Canyon more correctly, in 1969. A little more beam, and compartments, and the virtues of the dory really shine in whitewater rivers too. These here were modified from Oregon drift boat designs.

For reference in these examples, on the left is a "drift boat" intended for fishing in shallow northwest rivers (typically salmon and steelhead.) and on the right a more modern whitewater dory with watertight hatches intended for larger rivers. More specifically this design evolved from many years of Colorado river trips through the Grand Canyon, and the Salmon and Snake rivers in the PNW where the demands of larger rapids and the need to carry 4 passengers dictated a boat that could carry the gear and be recovered from a flip with minimum drama... if needed.
