Been checking for quotes from various sailmakers for a laminate or membrane sail. There are a few well known brands, doyle, evolution, and a few european lofts, plus
offshore chinese lofts.
This loft in particular caught my attention as it states its largest OEM maker of
sails. Not sure if true, but wondered if anyone has heard of
Wilfer Sails Taiwan, A rep i contacted via Whatsapp is working up a proposal, but initial numbers unsurprisingly are very good. I'm not looking into a discussion about using local lofts, etc. but anyone who may have used them. A rep from the
east coast, Loong
Sails,
https://loongsails.com/, is a supplier that uses this loft also. I'm getting a proposal from that loft also.
