Of course it is. I figure I'm doing a public service. If you're picking on ME, you're leaving someone else alone. Right?

And besides....we've been Oldragbaggers for years, since BEFORE we bought sails from Sail Warehouse.

And Hugo Boss did uniforms for the SS. Most Me109s and FW-190s were powered by BMW engines. But I was using the present tense.

Re: Who's Your Favorite Sailmaker?

EllesBelles,

This is a rather easy question to answer...

Mack Sails

I've been a long-time satisfied customer!!!
(and my parents were long-time satisfied customers of their father's, way back with Mack-Shaw Sails!!)

Great guys....(yes, honest, informed, and patient)
Great sailors...(yes, they have real-world experience/knowledge)
Great sailmakers....(yes, the do MAKE their own sails)

(they actually design, cut, sew, manufacture all their own sails, right here in Florida....from only high-quality cloth)

Hasse & Co. Port Townsend Sails. Such good people, and their cruising sails are made with incredible attention to detail. If you get the chance, visit their sail loft or take the sewing class that's offered a couple of times a year. Hasse's company is a longtime supporter for teaching and promoting sailing in Port Townsend. I'm glad I have this opportunity to put in a good word for them.
