What specific paint should I use to paint deck of Laser 1 sailing dinghy?

Restoring a 1980’s Laser 1 dinghy.
I’ve applied primer but stuck on which paint to choose for the top layer. Was going to choose a gelcoat?

But was told it would be too slippery, so then bought a light grey Hempel Non-Slip deck coating instead and it looks horrible.
Very rough and grainy. What should I be using? Hoping for a shiny, but non-slip professional finish!!

2 Component Polyurethane Paint with antislip powder throughly stirred in.
Brand is secondary. Does not even need to be a marine paint for this application, as long it's 2 component PU.

Thoroughly remove old 1component paint first.

Than roller paint deck 1-2 times with glossy 2 component PU, than mask of any areas which should stay shiney, sand lightly all other areas and roll on the 2 component PU which has the antislip powder in.

The contrast between the glossy areas and the antislip areas will make it look professional.

When sanding the antislip areas you can use an abrasive fleece, which will reach the high and low spots of the surface at once.

We did this on our dinghy which has part of an old Laser 1 deck on a Spindrift 10 hull. Came out nicely.
