Tie-dyeing spinnaker

Is it possible/practical to dye or tie dye a nylon spinnaker? Has anyone tried it? What did you do? What were you're results? I'm looking for ideas.
Thanks!

Probably not.
FAQ: How can I dye nylon or polyamide?

Re: Tie-dyeing spinnaker

Ha, had a very old spinnaker (1960's) on my first boat that had tie dyed itselfas the red and yellow stripes stained each other. No idea how it happened.. It was non ripstop stuff, crosscut with rope leaches.
