Stern rail attachment recycled my old adjusters with new eye bolts.

Great money saving post. I am about to tackle this same project on my Catalina 27. One question (at least for now), what size fid did you use for the 5/32 amsteel blue rope?

I just used the Samson fid, size not too important for a Brummel splice.

BTW, the steel springs in my Cheapo Chinese pelicam hooks are failing. I am replacing with stainless springs from McMaster, $5 for 6 springs, enough to do them all.

I used a length of SS seizing wire, which worked very well too.
