Shelter Right fabric for chafe protection

Has anyone used Shelter Righ fabric for chafe protection on sails? I am thinking of using 2 inch wide strips along the battens to reduce chafe from cap shrouds and back stays.

The manufacturers data sheet suggests shrinkage will not be a concern. The material should be quite resistant to chafe.

I am very interested in hearing experience from users and sail maker's who have tried this.
