You might want to look at Alado also. I bought a unit and installed it on my Cape Dory 28. I was able to install it by myself, but an extra hand would have made it easier. It is beautifully simple and worked very well. And the price is also very good. Just google Alado roller furling. There are also some videos on Youtube.

Did you decide? We're considering replacing our luff tape with a roller for our 322.

Only problem is the mk3 has been discontinued for a very very long time (20 years) I think you might mean a mk4....

The harken ESP line is a good economical furler for cruisers
