Thanks Oceanride007. Peter is permanently based in Port Douglas now. He is very busy at the moment and he doesn't particularly like rigging in the hot months, but our best option might be to just tool around this area (Cairns) until Peter frees up a bit.

I have heard from a number of people that Peter is excellent, especially if we decide to go with Dyneema.

If you haven’t all ready purchased the vsl ,see if the owner will take the vsl down south under his insurance,adjust the price accordingly ,just maybe .⛵️⚓️

Thanks Searles. I think I am at peace with the process now. We will bring her up to Cairns, then in the new year if I can get my preferred rigger here to do it that will be good, otherwise we will poke our way gently down south, All providing the rigging inspection is pretty sound.
