Rigging a Wharram Catamaran

Greetings from Grand Cayman. Thank you for the warm welcome to this site.
I purchased a partially built Wharram Narai 42', and it has turned into kind of a nightmare with finishing it over the past 6 years. The boat is in Jacksonville, and if anyone knows someone that is really good with rigging, please can you get me their contact information. Presently a boat surveyor and his friend are stepping the mast, and they have some very strong ideas regarding cutting down my Genoa because it will not work, although they can't tell me why??? I dont have a lot of confidence in them, and just would like to have someone else look at it, and confirm they are heading in the right direction.

Have you tried Wharram's office with your questions? I'd try Hanneke Boom, I think rigging is her speciality.

James Wharram Designs -Home of the self-build Catamaran.

You might also try David at Boatsmith, Inc. in Jupiter, FL. They are professional builders of Wharram's.

BoatSmith Marine Carpentry offering high quality, service in all areas of yacht carpentry.

Many Thanks

Many Thanks Doodles, Much appreciated. It has deviated quite far from the original design, and I'm afraid Wharram avoids discussing deviations from his original plans, etc.

I have emailed Boatsmith to see if he can help us out.

Once again, many thanks for helping get me heading in the right direction.

Best regards, buckaroo
