Looking for Sail Winches for Turkish Gulet

Hi All,
I am based on the pacific coast of Costa Rica and looking for spare parts for sail winches. My boat is a gulet and built in Fethiye, Turkey.

Can someone please point me to the manufacturer or a spare parts dealer? This would help me a lot! Thanks.

Your furler shows no manufacturer's stamp or insignia, (Harken, Hood, Profurl...) so you may need to contact the builder to see where they get their furlers, and then contact the manufacturer. Do you speak Turkish?

Re: Looking for Sail Winches for Turkish Gulet

Unfortunately, it shows nothing; no nameplate, serial number, manufacturer, or anything.
I have a little documentation for the ship and know it was built in Fethiye - and I don't speak Turkish.

So I am hoping that someone in this global forum might be able to help me find the source.

I tried to attach photos (a link to photos) to this thread, but I am not sure if anyone can see them.

Thanks, Globetrotter

gobetrotter,

The photos show fine... It doesn't look like any furler brand I have seen.

Hopefully somebody can give you a hint, or you can find a good local machine shop to help.

It looks like the electric furler used an the Amel 53. Don't know the furler make but maybe Amel owners could confirm and know where to get parts.
