Installing Roller Furling at Anchor- Wind Hippie Sailing

Pretty neat the way they did this without paying for a haul out and rigger to do the job.

Those cotter pins can be a pain though when you are up the mast especially the ones on the inside by the mast on the lowers.

It's way easier to do in a berth than at anchor, unless there's no wind at all. The moment when the sail's up, and unfurled, if the wind comes up the bow will blow down fast, and could yank the hook right out.

Right.

I guess that is how Rolly Tasker makes their furling jibs. Mine is the same.

Mine is white/white. White sails, white UV Cover.

It is thicker sail cloth though than my old jib which did have maybe 3 inches or so of foam at the luff.

Got it from Sail Warehouse for $850.00
