DIY continuous furler

Hi Everybody,

New to the forum. Looking at machining a couple continuous line furlers
for my tri. Was wondering if some of you have had the bearing assemblies apart in some of the big name furlers and what the stack looked like. I assume a thrust bearing of some type

with a couple of guide bearings or torlon balls keeping everything in line. The swivel is probably similar I would assume. Why build? I'm a machinist and I own cnc mills and lathe that I can make the parts on easily.
