Oh yeah - the dual voltage batteries will actually charge with the 20V chargers. So, you don't need a special charger.

+1 to this. An impact driver seems like a bad idea and would put a lot of stress on the winch even if it worked.

The smaller ones will work in many cases, assuming the chuck is in really good shape. As the chucks wear down, the risk of slippage goes up, especially under larger loads.

All the winch bits that I am familiar with either screw onto the drill's spindle directly or have flats on the shank for the chuck to grip. Chuck slippage is not a common problem with these devices.
