Claw Hook Identification

I’m trying to identify this marine claw hook which I used in combination with a suncor pad eye to secure this door.
I need several more of these hooks and am having a devil of a time identifying the product, and simply cannot remember where I got it. It’s stainless and nautical. Looks like an anchor hook, or a Wichard snap hook with eye, minus the snap. I’ve spoken to experts at Wichard, and Schaefer Marine, who anre anlso familiar with the broader rigging industry, and my well versed nautical buddies. I’ve done reverse image search on google. All to no avail. Does anyone recognize this item?? Unfortunately, I left the original behind, and no longer have access. Thanks very much!

Re: Claw Hook Identification

I have no idea about the provenance of this latch, but it looks like something any shop with a CNC plasma cutter could knock out by the dozen quite cheaply…

FWIW

Cheers, Bill

Re: Claw Hook Identification

What makes you believe that this is a 'marine' piece of hardware? It looks like something you could pick out of any woodworking furniture catalogue.

Take a look at:

Rockler.com
Woodcraft.com
woodworkerexpress.com

Find something you like in brass or bronze and replace all of them if you want them all to match.
