Thumbs up Boat/yacht legs made by Ltec (french)

Hi if anyone can help please, I have purchased a set of Boat legs but as ever buying second-hand they come without all the fittings as they are properly still attached to the boat
These legs are French made by Ltec, nice sturdy legs but without the gunwale/deck fittings as these fit on the deck vertically not horizontally as many makes do.
I ask if anyone has these type of legs fitted to there boat as I am in need of guidance for the size of plates/fitting details I need to get made in order to fit.
I have emailed Ltec who are unable to provide any information at all.
if anyone can help I would very much appreciate it.

You may just have to have the deck fittings tooled up by a local machine shop in 316 stainless. Odd how the manufacture did not want to help you. I would try and locate a vessel with your type and measure and photograph them for the shop.

Thanks Clamdigger yes I can certainly do so I just not sure on size.

The original makers were not helpful at all the responses I had were one liners as in " no sorry" perhaps it's Brexit?????
The search will continue
Interested to know looking at the time on your message where are you based????

Thanks, Freddie 100

I looked up Ltec, in Colmar, France. They make electronic components for industrial applications. That may be why they aren't able to help you. Boat-legs are not in their inventory. If you look for pictures of boat legs ("béquilles" in French - crutches) you may be able to identify pairs that look like yours and see how they are rigged. They may also lead you to a website for the actual manufacturer.

Think I found your problem: the manufacturer is Yltec.
http://yltec.net/files/DOC_BEQUILLES...50_D70_web.pdf They fit to horizontal fittings as you say, and are adjustable. Hope this helps.

I'm in New Jersey, USA; often up late reading on tablet waiting for the pain in my knee to subside so I can hit the rack. Been enjoying the threads on CF lately so chiming in.

Seems as if you'll be able to source your leg parts thanks to the poster above me. I swa those in use when in English waters 30 years ago. They work great to keep a boat on her feet when the tide goes out to do bottom maintenance.
