Wilcox Crittenden Skipper Head - ‘Any of you still using original WC head? I’m looking for a source for and/or surplus parts. I’ve maintained this antique for almost 35 years and it works just fine but parts are increasingly difficult to find. Kits commercially available have parts that don’t match or aren’t needed. Specifically looking for parts #14 and #56 now. I thought perhaps some members may have retired theirs but maybe have spares in barn. Thanks, cap’n Q, S/V Aquila

You DO know that Thetford bought W-C 8-10 years ago and discontinued the entire W-C product line? They introduced a poor imitation--the Skipper II--that only lasted a couple of years. After that, the only parts still available for either one were what was left in Thetford's and retailers' inventory. So unless you happen to find a previous owner who still has what you need, I'm afraid it may be time for a new toilet. The only thing left in it's class is the Groco Model K...which has a list price north of $1700. Groco Model K
