Where is the Spectra watermaker Tech Support?

Has anyone needed tech support from Spectra recently? The go-to FL person seems to be offline and the CA office is very slow (days) to respond.

Does anyone have another option besides these two sources?

Bunches o people on the forum have Spectra watermakers (I'm one) and have experience with them. Ask a question - you might get the help you need.

The feedwater pump will not run in auto or flush mode. There is 13.58 volts getting to the red wire (position 3 in the schematic) of the speed board but zero volts going to the motor.

Likewise, when I flip the switch to Service, the feedwater pump does not run.

The feedwater pump works as expected when I flip the switch to manual run mode.

I've checked continuity of the wires between the connect board and the speed board and they all are good.

Also, when the unit is sitting idle, I'm still seeing 6.7 volts on the red wire on the speed board.

This leads me to believe, I've got a bad control board but I'm not sure.

Did you get the answers you needed crayiii?
I have been offline for a while. This was no reflection on Spectra at all. We had some serious family medical issues for a few months before the holidays. After 20+ years of being Johnny on the spot, I for once walked away for a bit.

Re: Where is the Spectra watermaker Tech Support?

Seven months later at the exact same issue is happening with the new speed control board. I just have to suck it up and spend another $550 on a new board. This time I’m sending the old board to an electronics shop for diagnostic. Hopefully they can find the weakness in this board so it can be addressed.
