What kind of pex is this
Hi All .. I have a Catalina 350. Attached is a piece of pex from the galley sink. Note the white core. It also is a slightly different diameter for fittings etc. can some tell me what it’s called a where I can get it ... tx .. Dennis

That looks more like reinforced vinyl hose than pex to me.

At one time some years ago Pex was available in white and red. Red was to be used as the hot water lines. Not sure if there was any real difference. Haven't seen this on the shelves lately.

Looks very much like Watts radiant heating hose. I used it when installing my hot water system. The stuff I have is meant to bleed oxygen through the membrane to avoid water hammer.

Actually, the oxygen barrier is to prevent oxygen permeation of the hose. If oxygen is allowed to permeate the hose, iron components of the heating system will corrode.
A barrier does not allow the passage of oxygen.

Looking at the clamp in the picture my conclusion is that it is not Pex but a softer material.
