Water Maker Flushing

What PPM is acceptable when flushing the system after making water?
My manual says "...until fresh water is exiting..." which doesn't specify what "fresh" is. Below 1000? Below 300...?
Thanks

Re: Water Maker Flushing

Well "fresh" would the same tds as the water you are flushing with. But the number I have seen is 1000 ppm.

Re: Water Maker Flushing

Anything below 1,000 PPM is great for about 5-7 days before flushing again if your watermaker has not been used during that time.
