Vitrifrigo Starting and Stopping (but working fine)

Hi there,

I have a vitrifrigo C35 BT OCN (Code: F14110200S)

The freezer performs perfectly fine. There is good voltage to it. However, as it approaches it's desired set point, the compressor and fans stops for between 2 to 5 seconds, then restarts and continues to work till you hear the click (very audible) of the thermostat cut off.

It has a variable speed controller on it (as supplied).

I am used to working with this compressor (standard Dometic compressor as on my fridge). So my initial thoughts was voltage but all seems to be fine. It's almost acting like these start/stops are programmed. Or maybe the thermostat is on the way out?

Can you roughly explain what's happening here? Is it expected behaviour?

Voltage measured where?
The critical place would be right on the compressor electronics board DC input connections.
Those 1/4" spade connectors are likely losing grip. Give them a good squeeze with pliers and reattach.

I’ve been told by a fella who adjusted mine they are set too high and the adjustment knob won’t fix it. He reset the fridge and freezer and the compressor doesn’t keep coming on as much

Also I forgot. Keep it full even if it’s bottles of water. Otherwise it tries to chill air. V
