Use of Seacocks when in Nordic Waters

I am slowly getting suggestions and views of experiences sailors together prior to a long trip in a few years time; one of the things I like to know is what procedures to follow when using the seacocks whilst operating in Nordic Waters when the average temperature is at or below freezing? Not to mention the 1000ltr. Watertank and associated plumbing etc. ( our boat has a dry Engine exhaust system , but the Toilet and Generator have their own seacocks ).

Many thanks.
