Not real cheap, but durable, flexible, won’t collapse like the cheap vinyl blower hose, smooth bore so very good air flow and very high temp resistance.
That looks like a great product, but the data sheet does not list that it has a UL flammability rating.

If that duct is not rated, then I would not use it on my boat.

Ha, funny I didn't think of that; I have flared and shrunk Sch 40 PVC pipe with a heater I made from halogen lamps and with suitable mandrels.

Re: Thinwall PVC Sanitation Pipe Source?

Most PVC pipe I've dealt with (at least all that I've dealt with in the US) is sized by ID. 3" Schedule 40 has an OD of 3.5", for example.

Schedule 40/80 PVC Pipe Dimensions & Sizes | Pipe & Fitting Specifications

That looks like nice stuff, although probably overkill on the temp range. Maybe the Vena MT product (CAT equivalent) would be ok. It goes to +125C (or +150C for short periods).

The Vinilit and Tigre PVC pipes do not have published max temps. But most PVC used for pressurized water is listed for a max of 140F. Since this application does not have such pressure, no doubt it can be much higher temperature without a problem.

Yes, and the Sch 30 seems to have 1/8" wall thickness, about 59% larger than the Tigre.

It does have this cert: FAR/CS 25.853 Appendix F, Part I (a)(1)(ii)&(iv)"Vertical & Horizontal flammability test", but I'm not sure if that is comparable to the UL test.

That looks sufficient.
