Sudden drop in LPG pressure/ flame height

Tonight we had 2 burners and the oven going. Then the oven went out. Happens when bottle is almost empty.

Turned out the bottle was 1/2 full but currently using low psi butane. Adjusted the regulator a few months ago.

Has anyone had a line or regulator clog? Intitially flame came back up after switching to another bottle at 45 psi, but then back to just one very low flame.

Re: Sudden drop in LPG pressure/ flame height

We had this happen recently. Thought it was the solenoid. Nope. Turned out it was the regulator.

Re: Sudden drop in LPG pressure/ flame height

I have had a regulator freeze & stick-with resultant low flow. It happened when drawing a large qty of propane. Cured by turning tank valve off & tapping on regulator as it warmed.
I replaced the reg.soon after./ Len
